Modification

Eg. There's potato in your recipe and according to the nutritional values,it has too much carbohydrates and hence, you changed it to other vegetables and as a result, you modified the recipe into a healthier one.

Another eg. your recipe for a drink has too much sugar and thus you lessened the original quantity of sugar. In this way, you also have modified the recipe.

Another eg. If your recipe is called eg. "pepperoni pizzza" and has pepperoni as the main ingredient and you know that it is a type of processed food, you don't modified it into something else cos if you change the pepperoni to something else, the dish won't be called the pepperoni pizza anymore.
